There are prior examples of this (2015 SSSS, it looks like from the WIDI wiki page) so yeah.

If you are unable to find an old copy of the rules, a good alternative is looking at old tests to see which kind of topics are tested. The reasoning behind them charging for old rule manuals is totally beyond me tbh....

Heard a rumor lol. edit: west windsor plainsboro south It's in planning stages, so its existence is still tentative, but it will definitely be posted about on the forums when there are more details to post. Re: can we just take a moment to appreciate the gods who contribute to the wiki

Yeah. Also, thrift stores, used book stores, and estate sales are all good places to look for cheap textbooks. Not trying to detract from the value of the wiki, but just don't forget libraries exist - if you can renew a book repeatedly it's practically like you bought it for free, for the length of...

Re: can we just take a moment to appreciate the gods who contribute to the wiki

You don't need textbooks for studying. I personally feel like google is a great way to get information with a bit of searching and sometimes is more clear and covers some extra areas textbooks don't. Re: How do invitationals work at your school?

I was never afraid of other teams finding out we were good at an event and working harder to beat us - my school tends to say that if we do at the top few places in an event at invites, we're not that concerned about it, because States is won not by placing 1st in everything but by not placing poorl...

Re: Random Question

At least at my school it's pretty universally assumed that colleges only care about individual Olympiad medals, not Science Olympiad medals. I don't know how somebody would do a controlled trial on that but logically it would make sense to prefer something where students can't just depend on other p...
