Although I know I will probably make the team this year, I’m really nervous about doing badly at tryouts. A lot of my life revolves around Science Olympiad and I’d feel terrible if it wasn’t a part of my life. I'm pretty sure I did worse on my eighth grade tryouts then I did on my seventh grade one...

From a quick glance the only genus I saw removed was genus Carcharodon (thank god), but there could be more.

iirc last year it came out about a day or two after the rules, but that was IU. Purdue could work differently.

So is this the reason they messed up the opening ceremony parade of states when it came to Mississippi? (coincidentally right before Ladue, messing it up for them too :evil: ) Isn't there some sort of roll call system when teams are lining up backstage to make sure this doesn't happen? They checked...

Thank you for sharing. How did you adjust timing? The aluminum "L"-beams/brackets were taped sturdily to the wooden board underneath it. To adjust the time, zig/zags were removed from the board. To be more precise, we could take a bracket off, then add another smaller bracket to decrease the times ...

9 teams were tiered, almost all due to being oversize. Typically only a couple of millimeters, and typically due to some added part that stuck out.
