I use strings to make my levers move and I have not had a problem with the judges.

has anyone figured out how to couple this with the raising golf ball task? I dont see how it's possible to produce enough gas at a fast enough rate to raise a golf ball five cm. The rules state that the end task is completed when the platform's movement stops. If the motor moving the platform remains on, but the platform is stopped by some brake mechanism, has the platform stopped? The platform would probably still shift/vibrate a little, but not move significantly upwards...
