Re: Most Competitive Science Olympiad Event
While I don't believe it is the most competitive, Fossils is definitely an event where you have to know lots in depth to succeed. Having a general knowledge of all the areas typically seems to not get you very far in my experience over the past year. You have to know a great deal about all covered ...

Re: What do your SciO clubs do after comp?
Depends on what competition Invitational- Depending on how we do (14th at Wright State led to total silence the entire 6 hour bus ride home while 3rd at West Liberty-Salem would have been boisterous but for the fact that the team was going to be decided by the coaches on that very bus ride back home...

Re: Most Competitive Science Olympiad Event
Personally I believe Anatomy and Physiology to be the most competitive because (not to stereotype or anything) but a lot of the people who do A&P probably want to take on some career in medicine in the future and see this as a starting point. Plus with the number of scioly participants who have ...

Re: Official Mobile App
Cool. I don't particularly understand all of this newfangled telephone business, but is there any possibility of making this available, should it take off, for Windows phones, too, in the future? Yes. The only reason we didn't was there is a nominal cost associated with putting it in the Windows Ap...

Re: Scioly Achievement List
A lot of these apply to me but the most memorable ones are UNCONTESTED ACHIEVEMENT: Beating both of Solon's Write it Do it teams by ten points at West Liberty Salem Invite and winning first place (and then losing to them at nationals by 14 placements.....) ANTI-AESTHETICS ACHIEVEMENT: Nationals Air ...

Re: 2015 National Tournament: University of Nebraska
Has anyone ever attended a large tournament where self scheduling is not done in advance? For certain events won't teams all want to go late in the day? It seems like many events will end up running late or some teams won't be able to participate. We have never attended a tournament with no advance...
