Scioly99, he's in C division, so a 2800 would definitely medal at nats, but for B division that's a different story.

Does anyone actually know if there is a rule about taking pictures or videos of sci oly structures? Every time I go to a competition there are always people who sit there and take videos of all the bridges.

Just got back from the Mira Loma invite. I'm in C division so I didn't really pay attention to the B division scores but I know the 1st place for B wasn't over 2000.

If you're just starting the wood provided by your local hobby store should suffice, but I usually order wood in bulk from specializedbalsa.com, as they carry balsa in many different sizes and you can specify the density. I mainly use balsa because it comes in many more dimensions than wood like bass...

If we write a test or notes, would the information have to go up to the national level? Or can we just provide information for the state and regional levels?
Also, by notes you mean bullet notes that you would just take normally when studying right?

With my experience, I have found that Gorilla glue isn't much better than regular old CA glue. Even for parts like the distal end and attachment block, and I have been able to hold the entire load without using gorilla glue.
