Top ~25? Getting about 2000 is fairly normal for most teams.

Re: Highest Scores this Year
The device I created got a 1040 at State. This was with all 6 energy transfers and a box size of (28 x 29.5 x27.5). Even though my partner and I won the event at state, we still expect higher scores at nationals. I think it will come down to how many golf balls a team can score. The bonus energy tr...

Re: Scores B/C
But is it fine to pour super fast / dump all the sand in when you get to >10kg? I just stick to medium fast in general, since I thought dumping the sand would be a bad idea. If you look at the automatic loading machine though, I see that it takes 30 second to load everything (except the initial, wh...

Re: 2015 National Tournament: University of Nebraska
They being the National committee. They either sent it out to the coaches as an informative email, or it was posted on the Disease Detective FAQs or clarifications. They did? I really do not remember that at all... Who is "they"?

Re: Scores B/C
I personally like to put rather fast, if you think about it, pouring slow has less initial force on the bridge, bu t the bridge holds the weight for a longer amount if time. Ok. I have poured at pretty much a constant medium speed for most of the season but there is a member on my team that starts ...

Re: Air Trajectory B/C
Any Idea what scores might go top 10, medal (top 6), and win nationals? I would imagine to secure a spot in the top 6, a team might need to get under 5cm on both targets and be able to hit two buckets for 400 points. Have you seen what design the top teams have been using? They use a falling mass t...
