Changed definition of extra studying to: "Studying even though you know you are ready for the competition"
if you are ready, then you should have a good shot at getting a medal :)

No, extra studying is staying up late for a couple hours studying the night before competition. Normal studying is not staying up late studying the day before the competition. Yeah, I was gonna respond and say SEPA before everyone else did, but I don't know much about SoCal regionals so I don't know if either of the new SEPA regionals are quite as strong.
