How many teams from each state get to go to nationals? Each state automatically receives one national tournament invitation for each division. If most classes at your college are either M/W or T/Th, one potential solution to the losing-too-many-Mondays problem could be to make some Tuesdays follow the Monday class schedule, thereby equalizing the number of days of the M/W classes with the number of days of the T/Th classes.

What's a good way to get the rest of your team motivated to do their best? Establish a culture of high expectations from everyone on the team for everyone on the team. At Mounds View, for the last three years I was there, everyone on the team wanted to do well (and worked their butt off to do well)...
