spring break is here! time to make bridges!

no one in my region had an eff of 8. i read earlier that someone did though and place 12th.

that is true! only after 8 pm and right before i get super sick am i in ideal conditions to build our better bridges! your awsome o bridge will suck so bad! try to beat the kid that had an eff of 8!

I agree, after being in a balsa wood event for five years now i know where to start in designing and the advantages to certain design features
(not to mention i am a pretty good builder, a CA artist)

i know for a FACT that some school PAY for engineers to assist them in designing. Therefore can exploit a coach. lets stop this point less conversation about coaches because i think it is unfair that some schools buy their way into a medal. lets talk about honest bridges!

ours are a big gold M surounded with blue and our state competition is Michigan State so all of our event judges who are usually professors and such are like this better not be a joke! (University of Michigan have almost identical logo to our HS)

exactly! it is like if you went to school or college and there was no teacher there. you do not learn what you need to know. that is why it is acceptible to have a mentor to guide your efforts and to teach you the principles of design and all the other good stuff to hopefully lead you to success.
