Re: Ornithology B/C

...by copying and pasting. I do copy and paste (from Wikipedia and allaboutbirds). I think the issue here is how long I spend on formatting the information. Whoops. Isn't it hard to format a huge block of text you copy from Wikipedia/find stuff you may need in that large block of text? Actually I d...

Re: Ornithology B/C

How long does it take you guys to get notes on one bird? It take me like an hour so I'm pretty sure I'm doing something wrong lol please send help If you're looking for a website where you can get most of your basic information I'd use allaboutbirds, it's run by Cornell and I find it useful for mos...

Re: Ornithology B/C

While studying the birds, I am noticing that some of the facts conflict each other from different sources. For example the clutch size or brood size of a bird will vary from Cornell, to Audobon to NG. What would be considered more definitive? :?: :o :| I use cornell but if you dont trust any, I wou...

Re: Indiana 2020

Hey, what happened to "Munster is the TJ of Division C" :P I personally could see them doing well. I think Div C is up for grabs this year, but if Carmel can overcome the loss of a coach and munster can stay consistant, I think it'll be another close one this year. According to The Pikach...

Re: Anatomy and Physiology B/C

Suggestions on how to split the specs between 2 people? I personally wouldn't, I would try to learn the event and all of the systems together, but if need be I'd who you think will do more work and let them do two systems, because if you're going to learn a system its better to master it, and give ...

Re: Anatomy and Physiology B/C

How do you guys make the cheat sheets? Last time I made one, it was really, really bad... Don't put all of the information on it, only put knowledge that you don't know, or is really obscure. I would make highlighted areas for each system so that you can tell the difference and use columns for each...

I personally use a multitude of ways, but what works for me is reading an a&p book about the systems to get a basic understanding, go through the slideshow given on soinc.org, then I use tests to buff my knowledge
