Don't give up. Who did you contact?HappySciencePie wrote:Sorry 'bout the double post, but I just wanted you all to know this:
The tournament most likely isn't going to happen.
I'm REALLY sorry, I wanted it to work out too, it was really fun last year, even if it wasn't really a tournament. You can blame me if you want to. I think I might have contacted them a little late. :[
If we were to use the field two miles away, the nationals supervisors would have to rent it from the sports people who use it there.
But that doesn't mean we can't all play Frisbee together. Does anybody know if the dorms will be around a quad? Don't think Ultimate would work very well there, but we could always just toss a Frisbee at each other. :]
Good post. Turns out I am going to nats this year so I will work on this. Alecfxl I'm PMing you, Happysciencepie respond when you see my PM.alecfxl wrote:

The fields aren't usually reserved and are just generally used by random pickup games and club practices. But since this is after semester's done, there shouldn't be much going on.
http://www.recsports.wisc.edu/pdf/reser ... atserf.pdf gives procedures of how to request spaces. Two weeks notice (if requested by the right people) so I don't see why it can't be done.
Fields by the dorms I pointed out in previous post are also under jurisdiction of the rec sports department and can accommodate 3 or 4 games. Even if no proper request is filed, there's no reason why you can't just show up and start using either field.
