ultimate/party

Post by leotron »

Don't know how many of you know if you're coming to nats this year, but--
last year there was a great ultimate tournament.
we should do that again.

as for parties, "ice cream social" and "recreational center open" do not sound that fun :c
there needs to be an alternative

Yes whoever organized it said they were doing it again I believe. I forget where though.

The Eastview kids who organized it last year didn't make it to nats this year. So I believe pending how States goes for us, we may end up running it. If someone else wants to step forward and take care of it I have no qualms with that either.

Hey, you never know. Second team? But admittedly, Jazzy graduated so even if we go I dunno who would organize it.

if there's an ice cream party, there had better be ice cream.

At our States, there was an "Ice Cream Social" during the grading block, but they served lemonade and cookies instead.

Lol, wish they did that at our state competition. Free food! Although we do get to go to a banquet at the hotel we're staying in for state(our state competition is a few fours away from our school).

Yeah, my friends and I raided the Hospitality room (where they have food, snacks, etc) lol

Do they have things like that at Nationals?

Pending results from DC, I would not oppose organizing it again. Last year went down as a semi-fail in my book, I've got ideas for improvement/more communication between Nats officials.

However, I will most likely only be going to Nats if Eastview wins a bid. That requires DC dropping their spot.
