Re: Mousetrap Vehicle B
For anyone going to nationals, what are the average times/overall scores that you have been getting? I want to know how well our car ranks, in order to placate my coach.

Re: Mousetrap Vehicle B
Quick Question.
The rules define the "Track" as being from the "Starting Line" to the "Target Line"(Finish Line) as well a width(any size, minimum of a meter due to the start/finish line requirements). The rules also state that "Sighting and/or aiming devices placed on the track are permitted but must be removed before the vehicle runs." To myself, it appears as though any sighting and/or aiming device not placed on the "Track", prior to the starting line or after the traget line, are either permitted or ignored(Thus permitted?). Therefore my question is really could tape be left on the floor prior to the starting line(not on the "Track"), for sighting purposes, and be okay with the supervisor?
Last year, as well as this year, my regional and state supervisors permitted the use of the tape for sighting although last year's national supervisor did not(I hadn't noticed this rule error at that time to file an appeal, so I am asking now).
