It's a combination of things - scheduling issues, not being a national trial event, the cost to teams, and the challenge in finding enough supervisors to run all the eventsPrimate wrote: Was it too cost-prohibitive, chalker?

I know; what I'm saying is that trial events are counted towards the team score on equal footing with national events in the state of Wisconsin. New York does the same thing.rfscoach wrote:???? And I think it's the only way to properly run a trial event. New York ran "pilot events" a few years back, which were trial events that didn't count for points.
