Having recently gotten slightly into the Lord of the Rings series, this passage from Wikipedia made my day:
Due to its being a long-lived tree, several very large or otherwise impressive trees exist along the east coast of North America. One organization, the Eastern Native Tree Society (ENTS), has been particularly active in discovering and measuring these trees...Altogether, ENTS has confirmed four trees to heights of 51 m or more by climb and tape drop. In the Northeast, the tallest accurately measured tree is 44 m.

Hello everyone- I have a newbie question. The Forestry rules say that we can write on any of our resources (guide, notepage, and tree list). Does this also mean we can draw on our tree list? I have the leaf shapes drawn next to some of the tree names to help me study, but I don't know if this is against any rule. I mean, I'll definitely erase the leaves if it's not allowed. I have most of them memorized, but it would be nice to have just in case I totally blank out during the test. Thanks in advance for the help! :D

Pretty sure the rules say you can "write on any of these" in the section that details what competitors may bring. Given that, yes, you may and should write on your Tree List.

Thank you. Yes, the rules do say you can write on any of them, I was just wondering if drawing was somehow different (guess not, I'm just paranoid). I appreciate the response~

My test, which was extremely easy, was just two pages of questions and a scantron. A few samples were set up on a table in the front of a room that we were allowed to look at any time.

Made a picture-filled notecard set online, pressed save: "Request too large."

Well, hopefully in one hour I'll be good with trees :/
