It seems virtually identical to the 2008 list. I didn't notice any differences. (Though I think Limonite is new.
Life List: n. A list of bird species definitively seen by a birdwatcher.

Does anyone have any tips on identifying rocks such as Calcite or Barite? The large variance in color is throwing me off.

you can't just use color, you have to use as many properties as possible in cases like these...
