Bauxite.  Hardness 1-3.   It may be in the mineral section of the R&M list, but it is a ROCK.

Yes, you are correct! I was thinking that looked more like a conglomerate rock then a mineral. Your turn.

Biotite, and its most distinctive characteristic is its ability to peel into very thin, large flakes.

Augite, and its characteristic is its cleavage angles at 87 and 83 degrees?
