Anyways, question 3 is sort of hard to write w/out giving away the mineral, so it's really ambiguous right now. If no one gets it you can just go ahead and make your question

Number 3 is right, sort of.
It's too soft (3 means it can be scratched with a coin), brittle, and hard to cut.
So I guess these are all cons.

I wanna say it's a limestone....probably wrong.  Not sure the type.
 Some limestones were formed by chemical deposition and others by the accumulation of shells from minute sea creatures.

you are correct that it is a limestone.  now try to findout what type it is

yep. notice its oolites, which are the super tiny pebble-like grains.
