A is the pink specimen, B is the clear-ish specimen
1. What is the chemical formula for specimen A? How about B?
2. What is the term for the crystal habit of A?
3. What accounts for the pink color of specimen A?
4. What is the term when specimen A is formed in areas of deep-sea sediments, where organic matter content is high?

Incorrect: 1B, 2, 3
On 2, everything I've looked at says that the crystal habit of dolomite is trigonal (specifically rhombohedral). If that's what you were looking for, please note that all rhombohedral systems are classified as trigonal.
