lol, sorry. If you mean pine family, yes, yes it is. If you mean the Pinus genus, I think they're the only ones with multiple needles, so yes, it's a "pine" in both contexts.

Ughhh!! Pines used to be my favorite type of tree...I'm starting to rethink that opinion

Hmmm sorry for kind of just dropping in, but could it be a loblolly pine? That's about the only 3-needled pine I've studied since they're so common in my area
