Silly question, What constitutes a "Bouncy Ball"?

I'd think a ball that has a noticable bounce to it does (e.g. also know as 'super balls', typically made out of solid rubber or some similar material). Note this isn't the place for official clarifications.....

Where can you get official clarifications on the rules? :?:

The ultimate question itself is unknown. Can anyone actually read this?

Thanks we were getting a little grief from someone over the bouncy ball we are using. it is not as rubbery as a "standard" bouncy ball. it is more dense and does not go all over the place after it does its work. But it does bounce more than 5cm up when dropped from over 10 cm.

Post Script, I put in for a couple of clarifications, but they seem VERY slow to respond.

It can take us several weeks sometimes to respond. This is a very busy time of the year and keep in mind pretty much everyone involved in doing this on a volunteer basis in our free time, and are also helping out with various invitational tournaments right now.

Has anyone actually used this task in competition? We're think about adding this task for States, but it sounds hard to design so it runs smoothly. Is it worth our time?

We were thinking the same. Yeah, we're not adding it in. It's not worth the risk.
