What types of weights are people using and where did you find them?
Science, yeah!
Made a new team. 7th place at NH states. Officially the champions of Vermont.
2015-2016 Events:
Air Trajectory, It's About Time, EXPD, and WIDI.

Our coach has everything (like, EVERYTHING) in his lab. So we get to use metal pieces, plastic junk, anything we can find to stick together and make a weight. She's right. Most of your device should be able to be built with household materials. Some of the more fortunate teams may use specific things (like lab weights), but most other teams will be able to compete on the same level using basic materials. I would think any convenient point.. why do you ask? All that matters is the total net distance it travels..
