actually, this thread is not meant for general tips like that. It is intended to help people individually with their own towers.

and..... not to nitpick or anything, but stronger glue wont necessarily make your tower stronger or more efficient for that matter.

I agree if you have weak balsa(even doubled) depending on the density the glue wont matter

I need help.

My counselor for Science Olympiad told me to find the Breaking Point of the tower. He also told me to write equations for the Breaking Point, like Height times Mass.

My main points are;
How do you find the Breaking point
How do you find the breaking point with height and mass?

If by breaking point you mean the load at which the tower fails, there is no simple equation for calculating it. That load depends on many factors including the geometry of the tower and the various strengths for each member in the tower. The process of designing and building a decent tower is rather involved. Let's take it one step at a time. Have you done your research on tower geometry? Have you picked a geometry that satisfies all the event requirements? Can you draw it to scale on paper?

SLM's right-on as usual.
It will take some time to read thru previous posts here, but all the information you need IS here.
You could help your coach/counselor a lot by suggesting that he/she review and understand the information here. Said with all due respect, asking you to come up with what was requested says they don't understand some very basic things. An hour or two digging thru here will allow them to help you a lot more than they can right now.

It's okay, my teacher made a mistake. But he also wanted us to find new things. Such as,

What is the ideal height of the tower?
What is the ideal mass of the tower?
