Efficiencies you have gotten?
Hi everybody, I was wondering what efficiencies you all have been getting/the highest you have seen and with what type of shape. What I have gathered from the towers I've seen in competition this year, the chimney design has been the most successful.

Re: Efficiencies you have gotten?
I have been getting between 85 and 95 (using the regionals scoring)--I was wondering how that compared to other teams in B division. Browsing through the forums, I have only seen posts on efficiencies by C division.

I've seen several over 100... the highest I've see yet this year is 145.

If in division c that could quite possibly win nationals, division b, maybe it would place, no too sure about winning though.lucwilder42 wrote:Division b or c? 145 is quite impressivedholdgreve wrote:I've seen several over 100... the highest I've see yet this year is 145.

Well, just for comparison, at last year's 50cm height (and assuming the 145 is Regionals scoring), that would be 4.65 grams holding the full 15kg. At a 70cm height, would be 6.72 grams. Those are pretty mini-boggling numbers.thsom wrote:If in division c that could quite possibly win nationals, division b, maybe it would place, no too sure about winning though.lucwilder42 wrote:Division b or c? 145 is quite impressivedholdgreve wrote:I've seen several over 100... the highest I've see yet this year is 145.

Re: Efficiencies you have gotten?
Sorry guys... those scores were for Division B, using the Regional scoring algorythm. The WSU Inv was not nearly as impressive, with the winner at 112... 4th place was about 94. As most know, there were many national contenders at this invitational... Not sure if they were holding back not wanting to share their best efforts, just haven't gotten their yet, or just had the kind of day nightmares are made of.dholdgreve wrote:I've seen several over 100... the highest I've see yet this year is 145.
