I remember that. It was a really cool design, but it really didn't seem to have any way to get over ~15 secondslucwilder42 wrote:Don't worry, it's not worth seeing. It's from my teammates two years ago and while it was a decent concept, it has little to no potential. It doesnt involve twisting the rubber at all...mrsteven wrote:*searches image gallery* I see no chinook there...twototwenty wrote:The designs I have been toying with all have three rotors, which does seem to work. I saw the example of the two-rotor chinookt that is in the image gallery, and I really can't imagine this type working well. However, it easily could; that's why I'm wondering what sciolymiester did, assuming his claim is legitimate.

Better are the produce bags you get at your local grocery. These are basically free (I ask for some and have never been told no). They are also lighter.Frogger4907 wrote:Its not too heavy... there's lighter stuff, but Saran wrap works fine.thsom wrote:Would Plastic Wrap/Saran Wrap be too heavy?

Re: Designs
To the brave souls attepting Chinook designs:
It seems that most people have two rotors next to eachother as the basis for their designs. When I tried this, it just tipped over and fluttered to the ground. How do you have yours not do this?
Also, is anyone trying a design with three powered rotors?
