All done! Didn't place, but didn't expect to (after states, I had a lot of school hanging over), but my brother (5th grade) and sister got 2nd in Aquifers!! Yeah!

Also, our food science team consisted of a fifth and sixth grader--they didn't do too badly, huh?

I have extremely high hopes for Maryland's homeschoolers next year!

I have to say, Nats was fun this year. Albeit incredibly exhausting. Running around Disney one day, the campus the next, and then even more around the campus on the next day is very tiring. Especially if you get less than 4 hours of sleep a night.

Also, I would like to say WOW at the number of scioly people I saw and possibly creeped out. I would make a comment about Z here, but I'm not sure he would appreciate it.

That will be during nationals. It's at 4:55 a.m.

You'll want to wake up for it. Just step out of your hotel and look east - night launches are spectacular to watch even from Orlando.
Unfortunately, it was canceled just before the launch because of an engine issue.

Some of the people on my team got up to watch it, and we found out about the failure when one of us looked online. I also saw another team walking back inside two minutes later.
