Hi, everyone.

Just a quick question. I was wondering if PVC pipe would be considered a commercial insulator. The only reason I'm using it is because it was the only thing I could find that had an inside diameter of slightly more than 1.5cm.

nope. it is not. you don't use it as a insulator in "real" life. Also there has been a clarification on the national site for this. (too lazy to put that up, maybe sometime later)

Gibb's Free Energy, Enthalpy, Entropy, etc.
If you look at soinc.org under Keep the Heat, there is this awesome link that leads you to a research site with all the equations.

What are you guys using to measure temperature?
The only events I'm not on... are the events that i comment on. :3

We used Vernier temperature probes (for both testing and in competition).

Might be the guy from IL States. He also ran our Regionals, and I think he said that he ran Nats.
