Our team actually practices mostly by hefting, because that gives us a better grasp of what everything, not just what we're hefting, feels like.

Well we never practice by hefting, we always heft after we estimate to get an idea.

Right, well, that's how it would be at the competition, so that's the best way to do it. But hefting in the estimation portion for all of the questions is a little much.

At some of the competitions, they had stations where you needed to convert from imperial to metric or metric to imperial, even though it's not in the rules. For example, in the measuring part they said that it was a 2 lb weight and we needed the answer in kg. Do you think that that will be at Nationals?
