Crystalline Quartz and Biotite Mica. Quartz has a trigonal/hexagonal crystal structure, a hardness of 7, and colors are translucent and white. Mica has a monoclinic crystal structure, hardness of 3, and colors are black/dark.

tourmalinated quartz. Quartz has a hardness of 7 and there are different varieties of quartz on the list so... anyway tourmaline has a hardness of 7-7.5

I think darkdeserthighway got it right. I don't think biotite mica comes in that form. :| :| :|

Silver. Found in volcanic basalt rocks and in hydrothermal veins and mesothermal veins. Distinguishing characteristics are its interesting crystal habit, tarnish, ductility, and conductivity
