Someone said the Southern Tier has 3-4 participating schools so they just compete to establish which team gets to go on to States. they could still post the scores with only 4 teams.

Jesus, Fayetteville-Manlius destroyed everyone in the Mid-State competition. That's scary.
I'm just hoping we can make it to states this year in the Lower Hudson Valley competition. ;-;

Results aren't up yet, but Ward Melville took 1st place at the Eastern Long Island regional with 37 points. Second and third were Hills East and Port Jeff. I'm not sure about 4th and 6th, but Brentwood got 5th. Congratulations to everyone going to states! See you in two weeks.

I think the Southern Tier only have a few teams but don't know how many. It's pretty rural. Maybe they don't post results because there are so few teams and are embarrassed but they shouldn't be. They list the top 4 for each event but not a full list or points. That is for Division B and C. I think they do a disservice. If a student on a team has the full results maybe they can post them.

Any predictions for this year's WIDI materials? Last year was Googolplex, can't remember the years before (possibly K'nex)?
ornithology, forestry, entomology, triple E, green generation, water quality, dynamic planet (lakes & rivers), awesome aquifers, meteorology, robot arm, write it do it. :)

Congratulations on Ward's success at Regionals yesterday, FueL! I couldn't get there to watch, but I heard about the scores. With many teams in New York getting incredibly low scores, both States and Nationals are going to be amazingly difficult.
