So in the SW regional this past Saturday, nothing much surprising happened. Here is a quick rundown:

•ExCEL and Camas defended their 1st place spot once again. Skyridge and Union were B and C division runner ups.

•Only three teams from B division got to go to state this year (in all my years of SO I have never seen that few be chosen to go to state)... five from C division went..

•Teams heading to state for B division: 1. ExCEL, 2. Skyridge, 3. Jason Lee

•Teams heading to state for C division: 1. Camas Black (69), 2. Union (89), 3. Mountain View (96), 4. Camas Red, 5. Columbia River.

Will post b division scores when they are on the Washington SO site.

Do we know how many teams from each division we're sending to nats this year? I figure in B div it'll just be one, but what about C?

I'd assume two again, but am not sure. Does wrightstate's national SO website show the slots for each state?

We have at least 66 teams in the state if not more so I'm not sure if that is enough to send two teams to Nationals...

Do you know a more exact number perchance? If Washington has exactly 66 Division C teams, it would appear that Washington has been surpassed by Wisconsin to potentially claim the last second nationals spot -- by my count, Wisconsin has 77 Division C teams: http://wisconsinso.org/divc/docs/TeamNumbersDivC.pdf

Of course, this assumes that Oklahoma C declines their spot again. If Oklahoma C doesn't decline their spot, barring any drastic fluctuations in Division C registration numbers, it would appear that neither Wisconsin nor Washington would get a second spot. We'll have to see I guess.

It looks like the WSO website haven't updated their scores from each regional tournament, but when they we will see how many teams have registered.
