Re: 2013 National Tournament: Wright State University
In 2011, we left on Thursday and came back on Sunday. In 2012, we left on Thursday and came back on Monday, since we went to Universal Studios on Sunday. It completely depends on how much sightseeing you want to do! But it's nice to get there on Thursday at the latest, so you have some of Thursday and all of Friday to get settled, scope out event locations, make sure your building events survived the trip, etc. before the competition.caseyotis wrote:If you do go to Nats, how long do you usually stay there for?

That makes sense. Thanks! We're probably not going to make it that far, but it aids in making more realistic fantasies and daydreams. ;D

The thing with New York, though, is that there are so many teams that even top two is very impressive.

Yeah. SO jealous.silverheart7 wrote:I feel very grateful for being one of those states where the top two go to nationals.
but the post above mine is also true. our state never fails epic-ly at nationals though. we're just about in the middle, and our rival. . . got somewhere in the thirties at nationals last year, which isn't too bad considering.

Doesn't every team have a rival?Nerdy One wrote: but the post above mine is also true. our state never fails epic-ly at nationals though. we're just about in the middle, and our rival. . . got somewhere in the thirties at nationals last year, which isn't too bad considering.
