scioly.org Meetup at Nationals

Post by foreverphysics »

In the past, there have been scioly.org meetups at Nationals. As the person who previously organised this event *cough*Luo*cough* is unavailable at the particular time this would take place, I will take on the challenge of perpetrating it.
This will be mostly based off of last year's meetup--found here, so please refer to that post for most details. (i.e. too lazy to type out things)
The only change will be that it will take place at Gate 3 of the Nutter Center Arena during the swap meet. The official meetup time will be 8:15 pm.

There really isn't a 'main entrance' to the Nutter Center. You should probably select a specific gate.

Here is a map of the center:

Not really sure where the closest exit/entrance is to the swap meet.

It looks like Gate 3 is being treated as a de facto "main entrance," since that is where teams are being told to drop off their students and also where the dorm shuttles will be picking up students. Perhaps that could work.

What time? I'll try to drag a few of my team members with me...

I had a lot of fun with the 'mini meet up' at states, so I'd love to have another, bigger meet up. Also, forever owes me a hug ;)

Any time during the swap meet--last year was a bit constraining on times, so this time it'll be more free.
Also, I believe the sentiment about hugs was "no way in pigeon am I hugging you or you are hugging me". And also, you've done nothing thus far to be deserving of a hug.

I'll be there, hopefully? We'll see.
