HELLO??? they give you kits to work with! NOT JELLO! just don't go for a "springy matress" idea unless u r not very smart. my partner and I did that and our egg bounced out and cracked from a 2 foot drop. :( we didnt get last though bcuz we had a very low structure.

We're sorry to hear that your egg broke but we were just trying to help so don't blame us. I believe I said something about not too springy or else what happened to you will happen. Cause when we did this in Phyics class that's what happened to me and my partner, we used bendy straws as cusions.

I believe memory foam would provide the kind of cusion that is nessisary, if you can get ahold of it. But don't use just memory foam. Dude's right, you want some kind of hard bottom like styrofoam, or wood. I would suggest basswood because it's soft, but not as soft as blasa.

Basically, you drop an egg from a fixed height onto a cushion and try to make it so that it survives the fall.
