Practice a lot with pipe cleaners, and try to make a box full of common materials to use for practicing. It's amazing how handy a big box of stuff is.i may be doing write it do it this year
so does anyone have any pointers, experiences, things to know, thing to avoid, or any other important things
that i should know about it
just as a heads up
Depends. As much as there is improvement over time from practicing, sometimes flukes happen or something just clicks with a practice run. But, this could also be a chance to see who has some idea of what the writing should be like, and identifying people who are good at following the instructions. I don't think it's a bad idea, I just think maybe it's making the process of picking people to do it a little bit too complicated? Our team this year is having everyone to a practice run of the event to see who is the best, is this a good idea?
Have you read and re-read the rules? Have you read the wiki? Both are important to read. Or are those two sources still confusing? Can someone help us get a grasp of what we need to do, and tips?
