Fossils will replace rocks and minerals after this year, and fossils is on a 3 year rotation alternating with rocks and minerals.wiseowl63 wrote:
So if this is rocks and minerals last year (that sucks by the way) then what is going to replace it. I was thinking fossils, but im not sure.
Wow, what was the question asked there?technomario wrote:Oh and the stranges sample I have every seen was a bag of Tremolite just sitting there! Good thing nobody opened it!

For the past three years there has been a sample of tremolite on our state test. Kind of freaks you out when you see it though.technomario wrote:Oh and the stranges sample I have every seen was a bag of Tremolite just sitting there! Good thing nobody opened it!

They basically asked what disease it would cause if it was opened and hardness.darkdeserthighway wrote:Fossils will replace rocks and minerals after this year, and fossils is on a 3 year rotation alternating with rocks and minerals.wiseowl63 wrote:

Re: Rocks and Minerals B/C
So I am not quite sure where to go here, but can someone post the kind of study sheet they use? I have a bit of trouble identifying, and I was told I was doing this event a week before states. Can someone help?

Interesting.technomario wrote: They basically asked what disease it would cause if it was opened and hardness.
Identification is one of the most important parts of this event. I would say just focus on the rocks and minerals you have the most difficulty with and try to find defining characteristics.Mike_NCH wrote:So I am not quite sure where to go here, but can someone post the kind of study sheet they use? Not all Tremolite is asbestiform, and even if it were you don't get asbestosis from brief exposure. It's not plutonium.
