Point Source is where you can directly link the pollution to a specific place. (Oil Refinery Sewage)
NonPoint Source is where you can't directly link the pollution to a specific place. (Agricultural Runoff)

To add onto this, nonpoint source pollution is a much larger problem because it's a lot harder to regulate and control. But that's kind of obvious.

heys guys i was at an invitational a couple weeks ago and they asked this question: what are the three types of organisms found in aquatic ecosystems? just curious as to how you guys would answer this...i went with autotrophs, decomposers, and heterotrophs.

That question is so unnecessarily vague. Wow. Yeah, I'd probably go with producers, consumers, and decomposers. It's hard to tell what else they could be asking for.

There are a lot of ways you could answer this but another one is plankton, nekton, and benthos.
ornithology, forestry, entomology, triple E, green generation, water quality, dynamic planet (lakes & rivers), awesome aquifers, meteorology, robot arm, write it do it. :)

I found a question on a practice test that asked something along the lines of "list the four types of aquatic organisms by their feeding habits". Would this mean producer, consumer, etc., or something else?

Also, is it spelled morAy eel or morEy eel?

Thanks!

First off, it's moray.

I'm not sure about the feeding habits for this year. With the macroinvertebrates it was something like scraper, sucker, chewer...? Maybe? I'm not sure, actually.
