Will this be a national event next year? I'd like to start building a few now that our season has ended, and boomilever is no longer an event

Theres really no way to know a good effciency on events like this without looking back over old records from the last time it was run. My school had an elevated bridge from many years ago as a decoration in one of out coaches rooms, I know the student that built it and he was pretty good at doing so, it's built well, and I'm assuming it would've held 15kg, which would give a score of around 1000. But I've got no clue how that compares to other scores or states whatsoever.

I remember back in 8th grade (2010) one of my elevated bridges won PA states with an efficiency of around 1300, however the dimensions do appear to be different (not elevated)

Our Kids had a score of 1342 at OSU this year, and finished Third, so everything that has been mentioned about expectations is pretty much dead on... Depending on if they add any caveats to the rules, I'd expect next year's competitive state scores to be 1500 to 1700, and nats 1800 to 2100.
