Re: Road Scholar
Well at states you can't go much higher than 1st so don't be worried about that and I would assume they would make the nats test harder so that kids who did it the year before wouldn't have an advantage.computernerd4826 wrote:ive gotten gold at state the last 2 years and 25 at nats... BOTH YEARS!

Re: Road Scholar
It wasn't that bad I got 3 other medals so it didn't make a huge difference, but I still really wish I could get 2 points back. I feel sorry for my partner tho she didn't get any medals and we were 2 points away from a medal , she deserved a medal we worked really hard on that event . But I hope I will be able to get her a medal in Road Scholar this year , even if I have to work really hard.

Re: Road Scholar
Thank you computernerd
What kind of rule changes could they make it's a very narrow event in what it deals with?

Re: Road Scholar
Honestly, I think the event would be better if it weren't so much based around just reading maps. That just doesn't feel like much of a science to me. You could, for example, include surveying things, using trig and math... not just reading the final results. I don't know. I think it's too easy an event for SO.
