Well at states you can't go much higher than 1st so don't be worried about that

and I would assume they would make the nats test harder so that kids who did it the year before wouldn't have an advantage.

Yes but I was 4th and the A team was 2nd so I know their score but I don't know the 3rd place team's

It wasn't that bad I got 3 other medals so it didn't make a huge difference, but I still really wish I could get 2 points back. I feel sorry for my partner tho she didn't get any medals and we were 2 points away from a medal

, she deserved a medal we worked really hard on that event

. But I hope I will be able to get her a medal in Road Scholar this year

, even if I have to work really hard.

What kind of rule changes could they make it's a very narrow event in what it deals with?

Honestly, I think the event would be better if it weren't so much based around just reading maps. That just doesn't feel like much of a science to me. You could, for example, include surveying things, using trig and math... not just reading the final results. I don't know. I think it's too easy an event for SO.

Well there is some math and some formulas but you're right eak not even any algebra really or trig
