Uh Lol...
My coach doesn't write the tests, she orders them. It's annoying because the tests that she orders all have super long stories, but the competition tests have never had any writing longer than a few sentences.

I have a question...
I have a test from a few years ago. Unfortunately, I have pushed off studying Road Scholar until now *(I haven't been looking forward
to the event).* So, if I study what is on the old test and do some additional studying from the links on the SO site, would I know the
things that I need to know to do a decent job on the event.
Let me know, if not, can someone give me some pointers???

Thanks

Well... read the rules. Does what is covered on the test cover everything in the rules? No.. certain things have been added (profiles, drawing your own maps) that weren't there previously. However, that's definitely a place to start. Anything else you don't understand you can always google or ask.

How come you kept pushing off studying for Road Scholar? Road Scholar is a terrific event, my favorite.

Is the test you have from last year? Did it have quadrangles, highway maps, and map drawing? What does the test have on it? I definitely think you need the book, as I have said MANY times on here before. However, since it sounds like you don't have much time until your competition, just look back through the test.

If you want to learn more about the book, FollowerJr, read through this thread from the beginning, or go the soinc.org store.

Where does "the book" come from? Do the coaches just get it or do they have to buy it?
