Your Regional and State was not a story?

Well sort of. The three parts were completely seperate, but for both the quadrangle and the highway map, there was maybe two or three sentences before each question. So no it wasn't in a long story format, it just gave a little bit of information before each question.

Has anyone else ever had a test this way? I thought that people had, but maybe not.

Do you mean the story for the test was about two girls looking for a bat? If yes than that's pretty weird. Most of the stories are pretty cheesy, but that's just weird.

A National test that we were practicing was about vampires, and at the end they built a lightning rod and while the vampires were up there they were fried by lightning. It was pretty gruesome.

My regional was diffrent from most of the practice test you can get. You get an opening bit (scim it) Then you get the the questions. You will read a little bit from the story about it that has to do with the question, for example here is one from my regionals,

Patrick said, "Hey Spongbob, whats that cross on the map?" Spongbob replied "thats a gradual tick mark." Patrick asked, "well how many are there on this map?"

Then you would go to the answer key, put down your answer and move on. This makes it very easy in the test and you get a bit of the story. And yes, my story was about Spongebob and Patrick as in the cartoon show. Did anyone get a diffrent format then this?

I wonder what the whole Spongebob story was about. I did the quadrangle part, so I know that was about finding someone's cabin or something in the end, but now I want to find out what the highway map part was about. :|

Why in the world was it about Spongebob?

I would guess that it was about Spongebob because the person who wrote the test wanted it to be. I don't see how that question could be answered though, unless you talk to the person who wrote it.
