Why do you need a compass? Just for the purpose of drawing a perfect circle?

I think that when some people say compass, they mean protractor, because I don't see why you'd need a compass either. You have to have a protractor, and a compass is really not necessary.

Oh, sorry. Yeah, there's really no purpose for a compass in the competition.

Yes, because if there is ever a need to draw a circle, I like to draw perfect ones. But really, whenever I draw midpoints and intersections, I am used to a compass, so that's why I put it there. (if you've taken geometry, you know what i mean)
But ok, the compass shouldn't be on the list, Mr.Cool and Eyeball138 are right.

well it might also depend on whether you're used to using a compass because some of my classmates dont have a clue on how to use a compass so yeah is you're used to it then it might not be such a big deal...
