just make sure that your binder is well organized and that there arent any pages about to fall out. my partner and i found out that it made life so much better when we put the main equations in the very front of the binder so that we wouldnt have to flip through the binder to find one specific equation (refraction, wavelenth/speed equation, standing wave equation, etc)

Regionals tomorrow! I don't quite understand how to calculate some of the things like the speed of a wave and stuff like that(or how to read the electromagnetic spectrum chart thingy.(I don't get all of the nanometers on the visible light part and how to convert them into meters)(sorry about all of the parenthesis))

Speed of a wave is wavelength times frequency.

Was anyone else disappointed about last years national test? Especially the fact that they didn't have the measuring a hair width with a laser like the event description had said... I was looking forward to doing that the whole day... :(

That was just a suggestion about what they could do.

That sounds like ours. Ours was just a bunch of multiple choice, from a test creator that my coach uses, so some of the questions were nearly identical to ones we had already done.
2010:
Pentathlon-1@ regs, 4@ states, 16@ nationals
Road Scholar-2@ regs, 8@ states, 31st@ nationals
Disease Detectives-2@ regs, 1st@ states, 5@ nationals
Bio-Process Lab- 2@ states, 11@ nationals
Physical Science Lab- 38@ nationals
Team-1@ regs, 2@ states, 19@ nationals

Moving up to C.

We finished in about 45 min w/ 5 min to spare because it had some hard Q's on it including drawing a mirror image of a triangle with the angles and side lengths pretty close to the original.

My Regional was multiple choice, but it was actually a pretty good test in questions and in length. Some of the stuff we didn't know yet.
