http://petrifiedwoodmuseum.org/ has some pretty good general info...especially if you click on the Sci Oly link on the left. its not very specific though...mainly on phylum but if you scroll to the bottom of the Sci Oly link there are two tests which should be helpful

http://wikipedia.org is the science olympian's best friend! :D (and it still is despite the fact that sometimes it can be unrealiable)

Once again, the audubon and smithsonian fossil guides are really helpful...audubon has good info and practically all the invertebrates but its pretty bulky. smithsonian doesn't have everything but its thinner...

http://scioly.org/wiki/Fossils also has the basics of the event...

Good luck! :D

I saw that test on the petrifiedwoodmuseum.org and added it to the wiki a while back. Dude, did you ever find that test before your competition?

You can't really know what the test will be about. Just try to study as much as possible. If you have a good partner, everything will be fine.
