Yeah, Dunkleosteus is one of the coolest fossils ever

Did you know its "teeth" are not really teeth, they are an extension of its skull

i thought it was kinda creepy

At Regionals, my partner was playing with a Smilodon skull, and was pretending to snap its jaws at the team in front of us, who happened to be a rival school.

we had all real specimen....all invertebrates except one osteichthyan and a ginkgo and a fern...no dinos or anything!

it was mad easy...the question for the fern was "This specimen belongs to which kingdom? _________" hmm....maybe animal? or protist? (sarc.) it was scary...

tell me about it. i got so mad at myself for studying so hard for fossils and then getting an easy test ...then not studying as hard on meteorology and getting a hard test!!!

Yeh that was the same for me in Fossils(easy) and Dynamic Planet(hard). You just can never know. Well you can if the place uses the same test for the middle and high school competition.

Dude, the test supervisor actually helped my partner and i, he told us if we were right and explained tricky stuff to us. He went as far as to tell me i had gotten 1st place
