Re: Pentathalon
We didn't have rocks. We had graph analysis, a question about waxing gibbous, a question about environmental science (my question, it was asking what gas is a possible cause of global warming) and another question about chemistry. The team question was about biology, I forgot what it asked.

Re: Pentathalon
Our questions were something like this:
One was about naming the three types of rocks
Naming a stage of water cycle
Naming another stage of water cycle
I forgot the last individual one
The team one was to draw the water cycle.

Re: Pentathalon
yeah. I felt so stupid because I didn't remember the stage of the water cycle where a solid turns into a gas cough sublimation cough.

Re: Pentathalon
Yesterday was state for us, and the last physical challenge involved throwing a ball around. so me and my friend became managers and bossed them around and timed them. in the end, it was the academic challenge about labeling the heart that stopped the team from getting a medal.
There once was a group of teens
Who were lean mean science machines.
They liked to win medals,
when everything settles
and their favorite color was green.

Re: Pentathalon
We had state a couple of days ago and there was photosynthesis, rocks I think, lab set up... The group question was actually one I'd seen on a practice TAKS! (Texas assesment of Knowlege and skills) I knew the answer as soon as I saw it!
