Well as 49ers previously stated that is why it is called Science Olympiad. There is no physcial part about science.

2. none of you excelled in any of them, but I guess the group walk and brooming the bottle into the bucket were the least epic fails.

That's why most teams have their older kids doing the event.

well we kinda didn't prepare for this event so we just threw 4 kids that had a period free at the same time on this event(one of them being me)

A lot of this event is kind of luck. Which kid ends up with each topic.
2011 Regional, States, National Events

It's mostly just how thorough your science classes have been. I mean the physical challenges at states were pretty easy (sorry J.T. Lambert people), and it just depends on what your mental question is. I really think the physical part is there just because it's pointless to have an event where 4 kids each answer a question. And most of the challenges are something you pick up from playing sports, or in gym class.
