well mercali can change depending on where you were during the earthquake; it's like an insurance person they just asses damage

while the ricter scale is absolute; its the same no matter where you are
SO stressed!

Actually, the Richter scale measures Magnitude of the waves, in other words the size of the Amplitude. Not necessarily the overall energy released.

does anyone know any good websites for dynamic planet. if u do, please tell me. im desperate FOR any type of great info i can find :)

Do we have to know what the formula of determining a volcano's lava's temperature. wat do we hav to know for nationals :)

If your school has science textbooks about earthquakes and volcanoes that should help too. I know I based most of my Dynamic Planet knowledge on my earthquake/volcano unit last year! :)
