What I did last year, was we just pretty much took every science book our school owned, read the words, and learned definitions. Then, you really dont need to practice much. Of course, we did really bad at it, but we didnt get the extra points for not showing up!

we did that too. our coach would go through her like college level glossary to find words, and we would make flashcards for them. on one side would be the word, on the other would be the definition and our clue for the word. then we would sit at a table, one person facing forward, the other sitting backwards, and someone would hold cards up to one of us. they would give a clue and hopefully the other person would get the word. then, the person that was sitting backwards would be shown a card, and they'd give a clue for the other person. this would go on for 4 minutes, and then when the timer went off, we would count up how many we got right. then the karyn-nazi would yell at us for not getting enough cards, even though we had gotten 35 out of the 40 words that we were given. it was awesome! 8-)

Yeah, it's basically science taboo, but the only words you can't say are ones that include part of the word itself :D

That's our problem. We can't find 2 people that know each other really well. Some think they do, but then it turns out they don't
